The Arrangement History

For 27 years The Arrangement has stood apart from others through its showcasing of refined, rustic, and inherently unique furniture and accessories crafted from artisans around the world. We offer our clientele an opportunity to shop for one-of-a-kind, elegant pieces, rich in our native western heritage. In the last 4 years, owner and chief, Katherine Snedeker, has sought to change what people think of western furniture – increasing the selection, offering eclectic designs, and continuously changing what is on the showroom floor. A walk through the store is truly an amazing adventure.

The Best of the New West encompasses a variety of style for everyone. The Tuscan inspired Villa Sienna offers a looks from the cared rope edge stone tops on massive ribbons of forged iron, to the refined hand painted consoles with hammered copper inlays. The Victorian style, named the Cattle Baron line, is reminiscent of Miss Kitty with elaborate fabrics and trims accompanied by inlaid wood tables and consoles aside massive mesquite pieces. Our Elegant Rustic collection is extremely popular, allowing you to lose yourself in comfort with sumptuous fabrics and distressed leathers – a hard to resist combination of the rugged and luxurious.

A few years ago The Arrangement introduced Mountain Modern, which is a sleeker, pared-down look that is distinctively about the mix of natural elements of wood, producing a more contemporary look. Its warm appeal comes from the use of recycled and reclaimed wood constructed into organic furnishings designed for the present while inheriting from our past, and aimed at preserving our natural resources.

With two stores, one in Dallas and one in Houston, and over 60,000 feet of showroom and warehouse, Katherine leads an incredible Design Team with the selection and experience to brilliantly design any project, from a single room to a homestead, a loft or a place of business. We will create a place so outstanding that you will have a story to tell about the experience.
